First off, use your imagination. We do not want bland, meaningless stories. They're boring.
Secondly, plan out your story before-hand. This is a little hypocritical, as I do not plan to the whole extent. But I still do plan to a certain degree. Really. I do! Stop looking at me like that!
Make sure you use g00d gR4/\/\m4r 4/\/D 5p311I/\/g (Grammar and spelling). There is a spell check in most writing systems, as well as in the forum.
Next, space out your paragraphs.* Hit the return or enter button an extra time if you're moving onto something new. *If you do not use paragraphs, suggest you start using them IMMEDIATELY.
Use an even amount of dialogue and action to entice the reader and move the story-line along.
Now, remember! There's chapters in stories. You can use them to. In case you didn't know, chapters set apart the different events in games. This isn't too important, if you do them in different posts.
Short sentences create tension, and causes fear to settle, or adrenaline. Long sentences are for description.
Finally, describe characters and the setting. For example -
"Jack walked over the hill." This is undescriptive. Do this instead -
"Jack, a young man with neck-length brown hair, clumbered over the green hill, the little blades of glass wavering in the breeze that blew from the blue heavens."
I expect to see even more brilliant stories now!
