Okay, so, I've decided to start writing a story. My first is going to be about a kid called Neco, and DeathKnights. The prologue is going to be up soon!
P.S. Zuan - sorry I sent you that message, I didn't see this forum at the bottom.

[glow=red,2,300]Prologue
Neco
"Hey dad! I think I just saw a boar run through here!" cried Neco. He was only about 7 or 8, but was still outcast. This was mostly because of the fact that he was albino, which was in contrast to his black hair which streaked over his forehead and began running over his eyes.
"Sshh!" his dad lashed. "You might scare it away." He then crept through the undergrowth and unsheathed his axe. "Ugh," muttered to himself, "What's that smell?" As the man crept forward, the Neco could smell the stink of...something not quite rotten, not quite alive, something more...
"Aaaaarrrgh!" his father cried as his father was knocked to the ground by a black shape. "Dad!" Neco cried. As he pushed the bracken away, he saw a black blade which split into something like a claw at the tip rip into his father’s stomach. Shocked, he stood staring at the corpse of his dead, cold father. “Dad!” he muttered, tears rushing to his eyes. “Dad...”
He was then broken out of his trance by a hiss. Neco looked at his father’s murderer. It was a bulky assailant, yet as silent and smooth as a shadow. Neco couldn’t see it’s face, as the incredible shadows cast across were from it’s gaunt cheeks and deep eye sockets.
A black drop of tar from it’s maw hit the ground, and they both ran.
Luckily, Neco was tall and muscular, so he ran fast. But not as fast as the creature. It slid through with hardly any noise, despite the vast amount of fallen leaves and twigs.
Eventually, Neco came to a clearing in the forest. He sped for the other side, but could feel the monster’s breath on his neck. It made his eyes water. The shadow reached for him, and was going to grab his neck, but then he tripped and fell into a pit, banging his head on the wall, and breaking several bones. Blood wet the ground.[/glow]
Anyway, that's the prologue. I know, I know, a bit action-packed for a prologue, but it calms down in the next chapter.

[glow=red,2,300] Chapter 1 - Staring Death In the Eye
Neco opened his eyes. His left arm was twisted, the bone jutting out of his skin. Also, his mouth was busted and his nose was broken. He pushed himself up. And a shadow fell upon him. It was pitch-black anyway, so he shouldn’t have been able to notice. But the shadow was darker than night. It was the epiphany of death.
Then Neco remembered the chase. The creature. The death. Now that it was up close Neco could see the beast’s face proper. He didn’t want to look, but it forced him to stare.
There were two huge cracks for nostrils, running into it’s eyes and mouth, the nose ripped away from it’s black skin.
Then there was the mouth. At first, there was no gap in-between the jaw. But now it saw it’s prey, one thin, jagged line was filled with rows of razor-sharp fangs, filled with poisonous saliva which would make you burn from inside your veins.
It’s eye sockets were oozing with black slime and thick tar, dripping down it’s face. Now that they were draining him, the slime started shining green, and a far away swirling vortex of black built up.
It raised it’s blade. A huge valve of black spirits was in the hilt. Cracks in the midnight edge were filled with the blood of the innocent and the guilty, the poor and the rich, men and women.
The blade fell.[/glow]
